Mitsubishi EGG Concept - 2007

Inspired by irregular organic forms, the Mitsubishi EGG concept hybrid roadster combines complex shapes with simple
functionality using modern materials and technologies.
With its retro-modern aesthetics, the Mitsubishi EGG concept is designed to instigate a different feeling in each angle while
preserving a unique personality.

The vehicle’s electric engine is in a rear-central position, allowing space for the trunk and generator at the back and batteries
storage at the front.
The driver is surrounded by an aluminium structure enclosing the essential driving commands, providing drive-by-wire
steering, sequential gearbox and pedals.
The rear-view mirrors are replaced by a wide-screen monitor linked to a panoramic camera placed on top of the vehicle.

The Mitsubishi EGG concept’s batteries are charged by a small combustion generator and the vehicle uses every possible
way to supply additional electricity to the batteries: air-intake fans, suspension, steering, brakes and pedals.
Made of aluminium, steel, carbon, noryl composite and various plastics, it is designed to be modifiable, where all the main
visible parts are assembled like a toy and can be easily changed.
