Toyota Interior Design for the UAE - 2004
Task: Design of an vehicle interior concept for the United Arab Emirates executive clientele. Inspired by the sand and dunes of the desert, the interior philosophy is primarily focused on a - 1-passenger and 1 driver - configuration. The passenger seat is shifted backwards, emphasising the feeling of large spaces and desert-like curves surrounding the comfortable seating area, where the large glass surfaces connect the interior with the outside world.
An extra retractable seat can be positioned in front of the passenger, or disposed-of in a dedicated space behind the driver.
